About the FURY ranks (work in progress since we don't have all banktabs yet)

As a guild advances, members will always start to ask what they can do to get a higher rank. While I often can't understand the desire for high ranks, I will introduce the FURY rank system here.
This post will point out the efforts that need to be made to climb in rank.
Ranks come with responsibilities!

Since we don't have the maximum amount of bank tabs yet this post is a work in progress since bank access will be related to the dedication of players and thus directly connected to their rank.

The rank system.

FURY features a whole bunch of ranks and I put some work into setting those up. FURY will have ranks for pro-gamers, semi-casuals and casual players and I'd like to keep this or a similar system in other MMO's as well.

The current rank order is:

  1. Mascot
  2. Class Leader
  3. Group Leader
  4. Expert
  5. Honored
  6. Established
  7. Twink
  8. Inactive
  9. Trainee

As you can see we have 9 ranks set up where 8 of them are active ranks and one inactive. You will automatically be set to "Inactive" after not being online for one month and your former rank will be lost, meaning you will be ranked as "Established" again after your return.

1. Rank titles and description
The Trainee
A Trainee is a player that joined the guild recently. S/He will have access to all tabs of the guild-bank but s/he will only be allowed to withdraw one stack a day from the general bank-tab. S/He can place items in all tabs though and s/he will get promoted as soon as s/he shows an integrated behavior. This typically happens after a couple of weeks. It is encouraged to use the website, show presence in-game and interact with the guild.

The Inactive
is a rank for players that had a higher rank before and are inactive now. A Trainee that is inactive will be removed from the guild as long as s/he does not talk to a leader before and let's us know why s/he is gone for a while.
The Inactive will not have access to the guild bank.

The Twink
is an alternate character of a player. S/He will be able to see the bank but s/he has no rights to withdraw items. This is only logical since people with 3 alt's would have an advantage over players with only one character. However, the Twink will always be allowed to get items for her/himself out of the bank by using her/his main character.

The Established
is a player that has established her/himself in the guild. S/He show's presence, interacts, and generally is a very dependable person within the guild.

The Honored
will have achieved his rank by meeting the expectations of other players and the guild as a natural person. S/He will support the guild with selected donations to the guild bank and s/he will also help players within the guild with advice in general questions. S/He might also be an advanced and helpful crafter.
This rank is restricted to semi-casual and casual players.

The Expert
is similar to the Honored but in addition s/he will exceed the Honored by deep knowledge of her/his class. S/He will perform very well in all aspects of the game, including outstanding pvp results.
The Expert is a rank only obtainable by power-gamers and semi-casuals.

The Group Leader
is the highest regular rank achievable for a semi-casual player and dedication is an essential element of this rank. The Group Leader will exceed in efforts made by his actions. S/He will be responsible for players of his section (here mostly in the PvE environment ), will have knowledge of addons, deep knowledge of crafting and all PvE aspects of the game. A very helpful and skilled player who will deserve the rank of an officer and take pride in it.
The Group Leader will be also summarize and share his experiences on the website.

The Class Leader
will show outstanding class performance in all aspects of the game. Not only knowing every detail about her/his class s/he will also share this knowledge with other players, no, he will be a major source of information for other players and, like the group leader, summarize his knowledge in class and talent guides on the website.
There will be only one Class Leader per class! Eventually there will be one per crafting profession as well - depending on the performance of certain crafters. As of this the Class Leader will be a contested position.

The Mascot
is the leader. S/He will be responsible for all guild-internal affairs, even if that means relaying them to other positions. S/He will be the guilds top supporter and always act with responsibility. As i am writing this, the position of the Mascot is filled by me. Should I retire from the game, the guild leader of the World of Warcraft section will be determined by vote and recruited from the Group and Class Leader ranks.

I made a few charts to give an overview of player type requirement for a rank, the rights of a rank, the withdraw limit for the general bank tab and responsibility expectations.

3. Structure of ranks by player type

As you can see in the chart, everyone get's a fair start. Depending on activity a certain rank-career is possible.
While the highest rank for a casual player will be honored, a semi casual player might achieve group leader or even mascot.

4. Structure of responsibilities

5. Structure of bank tab access
